Today we are excited to share that btov is launching btov connect!, our office hour program for founders from underrepresented communities.
After conducting the Female Founders Fundraising Survey together with Grace – Accelerate Female Entrepreneurship in Summer 2020, we learned that founders from underrepresented communities face greater challenges than their peers, including lack of capital access, network and clarity on VC expectations.
As a result of the survey and our discussions we decided to create a recurring office hour program at btov to start move the needle!
Through btov connect!, we strive to provide equal opportunities to all founders, as we believe access to investors should not be limited to personal network. That’s why we aim to connect outstanding founders from diverse backgrounds with our dedicated investment teams and Europe’s strongest network of entrepreneurial private investors.
During a virtual one-to-one session, founders can get advice on business model design, geographical markets, specific industries and structuring fundraising rounds.
Are you interested in participating as a founder or would like to share the initiative? Please find more information here.
