Q -Which values are important to you and drive you?
WM -Remain true to yourself and stand up for your values. To be curious about people and the environment.
"Stay curious" is actually more of a motto than a quality, but it is very close to my heart and drives me to try new things.
Q -Which SciFi "technology" are you missing in the real world?
WM -Beaming.
Q -What do you like most about your job?
WM -It has a lot to do with VC. I learn not only about VC but also about the different companies and personalities in the different industries. It is very diverse.
Q -Which professional or personal achievement are you particularly proud of and why?
WM -I am especially proud of the event planning of an international congress, because it required a lot of patience and good communication with the international guests.
Q -What did you want to be when you were little?
WM -I always wanted to become a policewoman on a horse.
Q -What are you good at? What is your superpower?
WM -My glass is almost always half full and I am a good listener.
Q -What is typical for you?
WM -I am very curious and like to learn new things. I am interested in the way of thinking and the history of people.
Q -What are your top 3 favorite podcasts/books?
WM -I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, Nordic crime thrillers and True Crime podcasts. Reading is less fascinating to me, but audio books are even more so.
Q -Where do you currently educate yourself further, what are you currently learning?
WM -As I have had little contact with the financial industry in my career so far, I am currently taking part in an online course to become a financial analyst.
Q -Do you have a person who has influenced you in your life in a special way, or one who has had a significant impact on you?
WM -It is not one person, but several. It is the stories that shape me and make me the person I am.
