Victor Szabo


Victor joined the btov Industrial Tech Fund team at the beginning of 2020, initially as a working student/intern and since March 2021 as an investment analyst.

Previously, he gained industrial experience in development at BMW and Webasto, and strategic experience at Deloitte Consulting. After living in Shanghai for a year for his double bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, and studying abroad at Politecnica in Madrid and Politecnico in Milan for his international master’s in Industrial Management, he graduated with a thesis on the Venture Capital & Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Germany at TUM.

I’m excited most about giving founders the chance to foster their innovative drive.

VS -That it's a cross-network collaboration instead of a competition.
Q -What do you do in your spare time? Do you have a passion that you pursue outside of work?
VS -I like to pursue my own creativity and look at the world through the lens of my Contax SLR, or I design and develop my own wristwatches.
Q -What did you want to be when you were little?
VS -An architect, like my father.

VS -Pen & paper, loud music when I have to go into a working tunnel.
