Luis Martín Cabiedes lives in Spain. He has a degree in Philosophy, an MBA from IESE, and a Financial Analyst Charter from CFA Institute. In 1989, he joined the Europa Press Group, where he was co-president for 12 years. In 1998, he started investing in early-stage tech start-ups. He initially operated as a business angel and then launched his own venture capital fund (Cabiedes and Partners) in 2009. He has invested in more than a hundred Internet start-ups, including Ole, Myalert, and, more recently, Privalia, Trovit and BlaBlaCar.
