Viktoriya Tigipko is Founding Partner of TA Ventures, a venture capital firm, investing globally in innovative seed and early-stage consumer Internet and mobile companies. So far, TA Ventures has 90+ companies in its portfolio and has achieved 18 exits. TA Ventures portfolio includes such companies as Auctionata, Azimo, Beepi, Dreamlines, Finanzcheck.de, NU3, SumUp, Wallapop and others. TA Ventures is focusing on fintech, e-health, Big Data, cloud computing, and online marketplaces. It invests more in seed and early stage deals, and can write bigger checks on later stage. Mostly invests in primary transactions. TA Ventures invests globally, though majority of its investments are in the US (40%) and Europe (Germany and UK). The rest are typically in, but not limited to Israel, Southeast Asia and India.
Since 2010, Viktoriya has been the Organizer of the “IDCEE. Internet technologies and Innovations” conference, one of the top European gatherings on Internet technologies. The conference served as a platform for 2’500+ opinion leaders, aspiring Internet entrepreneurs, VCs, angel investors, innovators, and other IT and VC industry experts from the CEE region and beyond.
In 2013, Viktoriya initiated Code Club Ukraine, a nation-wide volunteer-led initiative for teaching children to code, which is a local branch of Code Club World.
Viktoriya is also the President of the Odessa International Film Festival, which was established in 2010 with a mission to bring high quality films from all over the world to the Ukrainian audience as well as to encourage the development of film industry in Ukraine and to restore its cinematic tradition. The festival audience is over 120’000 attendees annually.
