Verena Pausder

Verena Pausder, born in 1979, studied Business Administration with a major in Finance, Accounting, Controlling at the University of St. Gallen and began her career at Munich Re.

After working for be2, Bertelsmann and being CEO of children entertainment company goodbeans, she founded Fox & Sheep in 2011, a company focused on developing apps for kids. With over 30 million app downloads, Fox & Sheep became one of the largest app developers for kids in Europe. She sold the majority share of the company to HABA in 2014 and stayed on board as CEO for 5 years, founding the HABA Digitalwerkstätten during this time.

Verena is a very active business angel in the Berlin startup ecosystem and also the co-host of the German Gründerball that takes place in Berlin every November.

In 2016 Verena was nominated Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in Davos.

She is on the advisory board of comdirect bank AG, DELIUS Textiles and Röhlig Logistics.
