Kaspar Grob has over 35 years of experience in the financial and industrial sectors and is a well experienced investor in the venture capital sector. Kaspar Grob gathered wide-ranging international experience in the field of portfolio management. As a senior executive, he was jointly responsible for building up the sales department of a financial institution based in the Far East. He later headed the branch of an international investment consultancy in Zurich as a Senior Partner. Kaspar Grob founded Helvetic Trust AG in 2001 and is since then acting as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Senior Partner of the company. Helvetic Trust AG is a legally and financially independent, owner-managed company acting as a financial services provider that thinks and acts for the long term, with particular strengths in the fields of Wealth Management, Asset Management, Family Office Services, Venture Investments and Real Estate. From 1991 to 2007, Kaspar Grob also held a 50% stake in Bernauer AG Elektro-Telecom. Together with his business partner and the executive board, he built this up into a leading supra-regional company with nine branch offices. Bernauer AG was acquired by the long-standing Managing Director and new sole shareholder in the summer of 2007 through a management buyout. This means the company has remained owner-run throughout the 75 years of its existence.
