Axel A. Brahm
Axel A. Brahm studied at the University of Münster (1993-1998) and holds a degree in business administration (Dipl. Kaufmann). Before his studies, he had spent two years with a car manufacturing company in Stuttgart and finished his apprenticeship as industrial business management assistant. During the time at the university he specialized on marketing and finance. After his studies, Axel A. Brahm started working in an English bank in Frankfurt and London and was responsible for corporate clients on the management relationship side.
In 1993 he moved on to a German High Street bank for five years. During that period of time he focussed on project- and specialised financing purposes on the corporate finance side, i. e. cash flow based transactions (e. g. financing of windmills) and M&A-business. After that, Axel A. Brahm moved on to a German Landesbank. He took over the responsibility for the relationship department, looking after corporate and institutional clients.
From 2005 to 2010, he was the CMO in a medium sized Sparkasse and then in a private bank. After leaving the banking sector, Axel A. Brahm started his own business. Until today, he has his consulting company and is still the CEO and core investor of a start-up in the finance-sector with strong relations to the e-commerce business.
Axel A. Brahm holds positions in various supervisory boards in the health care sector and is still doing consulting jobs in selected interesting companies.
He considers himself as “not retired” and will start to make new investments in new companies through btov. Axel A. Brahm is married and has one child. Due to the fact that he lives in Flensburg, he is using the train extensively and loves to do this.
