btov Investor’s Talks & Portfolio Day in Berlin 2017
The 10th annual btov Portfolio Day will take place on September 28th in Berlin. The event will feature live presentations of up to twelve selected companies from the btov portfolio. The event will be hosted at “Haus Ungarn” in Berlin-Mitte.
Please note that the btov Investor’s Talks will take place in the morning from 09.00-13.00 at the same location; that portion of the program is reserved exclusively for btov Circle Investors members, btov Investors and selected guests. All other guests are kindly asked to arrive at 13.30.
The btov Portfolio Day is, first and foremost, a networking event. Every year, we invite selected portfolio companies, members of btov’s private investor network, and selected guests to join us for this annual event, which usually draws around 200 participants. The event is somewhat comparable to a work exhibition of a manufacturing company with extensive networking opportunities. In other words, we invite guests to take a glimpse behind the scenes and find out what sorts of companies btov has invested in and how they have developed so far.
Similar to a work exhibition, guests can see and interact with the “products” (i. e. portfolio companies) in different maturity stages. Some of the presented companies are exit-ready and others still have one or more financing rounds ahead of them. All of the presented btov companies have overcome an initial start-up phase and are entering (or already in) the expansion phase. We believe that it is important to present our portfolio companies to other investors, who may eventually become co-investors in future rounds of funding, or who may end up acquiring individual portfolio companies. We also believe that the event is more exciting when we host it in cooperation with outstanding fellow venture capital investors who also present a selection of companies from their portfolio. In the past, we have hosted the event with our colleagues from Wayra (Munich), hub:raum (Berlin) and Axel Springer Plug and Play (Berlin).
The event will be held in English. Please note that this is an invitation-only event. If you would like to participate and have not received an invitation, please contact Benita Xheladini.
