Comtravo, the Berlin-based platform for business travel bookings, has completed a financing round of 21 million euros. The round is led by Endeit Capital, with particpation of existing investors Project A, Creandum and btov Partners as well as new investors Deutsche Bank, AER Ticket, the largest airline ticket dealer in Europe, and Jan Valentin, the former European head of Kayak.
They want to use the fresh capital to fully automate booking processes by up to 80 percent in the near future. Currently, well-trained travel agents have to deal with time-consuming, repetitive tasks instead of dealing with more complex concerns. Comtravo wants to change that by automating more and more simple tasks so that agents can focus on the really important issues and provide excellent service.
Since their foundation in 2015, they have already been able to automate 60 percent of the processes through the use of technology and are pleased with the customer response and continued investor support.
Congratulations to whole team of Comtravo.
